Ready for a new adventure?

We can help you plan your adventures, large or small. Whether it’s un-climbed summits, a personal challenge or a private trip with your friends you’re after, we are very well equipped to help you make it happen.

5 Steps to get you ‘out there’:

1. Get inspired

– have a look at our set trips and destinations, or get chatting to us about exciting places – how about the Altai Mountains or a crossing of the Patagonian ice sheet? We have the qualifications and experience to guide you all over the world.

There’s also the option of joining us on one of our Training Courses , open events  or talks where we introduce specialist equipment and new destinations. Here you can get to know our guides and start chatting about new adventures. Find out about any upcoming talks or events on facebook and Twitter.

2. Find out more about a particular region from someone who’s been there

– we have maps of rare regions and lots of anecdotes and photographs to get you excited. From polar crossings to high altitude destinations or little known valleys in Norway, our guides have been there and done the groundwork. We would be excited to share our experience. If you propose somewhere that’s new to us, we will welcome the opportunity to get out there and recce your trip.

3. Create and set your own personal challenge

– Higher, further, more remote – we can give you inspiration and tailored challenges, as well as set up an individual training programme to help you achieve your personal goals.

4. Get your friends on board to join you

– we can provide well-designed information packs to get others interested. Coordinating holiday times and budgets amongst your group can be difficult – our bespoke trips offer greater flexibility.

5. Get into the detailed planning

– get your friends together to meet us for a coffee and leaf through our well-stocked bookshelves, specialist material and maps. We really enjoy the route planning phase of a trip. To us, a trip gets real when we look at the contour lines and distances on the map, and imagine the landmarks along the way.

Equipment is an important consideration. We will supply detailed kit lists, and you will learn all about equipment and how to use it on your pre-expedition training course, which is part of your bespoke package. We are also able to offer you great deals on kit if you order with us, as well as 15% discount at Cotswold Outdoor.
